Ok so I have been procrastinating this blog because I have been trying to upload her walking videos but I have had trouble with either the camera or the computer every time!! So.... soon I will put them on cuz she is soooo funny!! So yes... this month she is WALKING!!!! Yay!! She is sooo cute and looks so tiny walking around everywhere! It makes me sad. She won't even crawl at all anymore. Bye Bye baby hello toddler!!! She also got three new teeth this month and all in the same week... maybe even the same day!! Needless to say that was not a happy week for her! She has 8 teeth now. Big girl!! She is talking so much now!! It is fun to hear her little voice! Her new favorite is "No No DAD! " and "Who's that?" so funny! She loves to sing and dance! And play baseball... yes I am afraid she is a GIRLY tom boy!! It's bound to happen right. She trows the ball and yells GO!!! She also loves cars!! Poor girl!!! :) But... she does love dolls and playing with her best friend Kali! Only a few more weeks and I will have a 1 year old!! I swear that it is NOT fair!!!! I have been dreading this from the day she was born!!!!!! I love you Aliya!!!!!!!!!

So, this year my kids were a little older and they really enjoyed the visitors center. Grandpa took them around and explained how everything worked and they loved it!! So cute!! I think that this was their favorite part!!

We rode on the bus from the parking lot to the visitors center. They showed us a little movie on the way up and Aliya kept pointing at the tv. She had just woken up from a nap and didn't quite know what to think!

On Saturday my dad had his Kennecott family day and we went with my dad, step mom, sister, Karson, Lachlan, and my Aunt Annette who was visiting from Arizona!! It was such a fun day! We were able to look at and even climb on some of the big trucks! We ate lunch there and had a tour of the visitors center! The boys loved it and especially spending time with family. It was fun to be together! After we went back to Grandpa Gary's for swimming and homemade Chile Verde! YUM YUM!!!

Little Tyson is so cute! He is my sweet timid one. He loves the water but not so much going under or even swimming around. He would be content even just to lay out by his mommy. But... with a little ok a lot of persuasion from his dad and about half of the people there he finally went down the big waterslides!!! His dad needless to say now owes him a star wars toy!!! YAY for Tyson!! He went down 20 times and we had to drag him home. He can't wait to go again. My big boy!

This is Kali and Aliya trying to dance to the DDR!! Aliya eventually makes her way to the music sometime while we are there. She is so dang cute, she is just drawn to music and she dances so stinkin cute that I just laugh at her!! What a cutie!!!

Classic skating is our favorite summer hang out!! They have skating, indoor inflatable bouncers, a jungle, and waterslides!! We go at LEAST once a week and the kids absolutely love it!!! These are just a few pics from our adventures there!! What fun!! I will be soooo sad when school starts again and I will lose my little playmates!!!!

So.... this year we decided to do something fun for the All Star Game. We invited Gabe's dad and brothers over and got together with our neighbors for a party! Bryan was able to get a projector from his work and we watched the game in between their house and the Thomas's house. We set up chairs and had a BBQ while we watched the game. We played several fun games as well to keep the kids entertained and just for fun!! We played an ongoing BINGO game that had the team logos and everytime a player got up they got to put a piece on the team they represented! We had cute baseball toy prizes!!! We also had a game to guess the final score... Lexie Smith was the winner but..... I was second!!! And Kaylynne Ransom 3rd!! YAY!!! Good job American League!!! We also had a pinata at 7th inning stretch that the kids loved!! It was just a fun time with family and friends that we will defintely have to make a new yearly tradition!!!!!

Wow!!! What a fun day we had!! We started at 6:30 am!! I ran in the East Millcreek 4th of July 5k and the fam. came to watch! It was soooo much fun and what do you know I came in 2nd in my age group! YAY!! I'll tell you that 3 miles is sooooo much easier than 26!! :) But its what I love! After the run we went to breakfast at the park with our ward. YUM! We went home, made cake and rested for awhile and then headed over to my dad's for a fun night!! My Aunt, Uncle and cousins came from Arizona with their kids and it was so good to see them!! We swam, had a bbq and ended it all with fireworks in the front yard! It is soooo fun to be with our family and thankful to spend the day with them. I am so thankful for this country that we have to live in and for all of the freedom that we enjoy. I know that we probably take it for granted most of the time but I am very greatful to those who fought and still fight today for these freedoms we enjoy. I am so very blessed!!!!

The Aquarium

Aliya loved loved loved these big giant fish!! She was right at eye level with them and would walk back and forth yelling at them! She was soooo cute and they formed a little group and kept swimming all at once to her. The lady that worked there said that she had never seen them do that before! So cute!! She cried and was upset when I finally had to drag her away!! Sorry sweetness!!

They had a touching pool with fish and a sting ray that you could touch! The kids all loved it!! This is Tyson touching the sting ray!!

Our cute Cousins Kollin, Kohen, Aunt Dee Dee and Uncle Kris came to Utah for a visit. Ala, Kevin and their kids too but their stay was way too short and unfortunately I didn't have my camera a lot!! But we did a lot of fun things while they were here one of which was we went to The Living Planet Aquarium in Sandy. It was so much fun and the kids really liked it!! I would recomend it to anyone!!!!

My baby princess is another month older and actually will be 10 months old soon! She has 4 teeth now and 2 more on the way!! She is walking around everything and it is only a matter of time before she is walking!! Oh no!!! My baby is almost a toddler!! It's really not fair i tell you!!! I have had sooooo much fun with her. She is my little shadow and feel lost when she is not with me. I love love love her sooooo much and so do these boys!!! She has been their biggest cheerleader at all of their games! My little miss turned 8 months old on May 3rd!! I can't believe how fast the time has gone by!!! CRAZY!!! She is crawling around everywhere now and loves to chase Tyson around the house!! She is pulling herself up on everything and walking around the furniture and it won't be long now before she is walking!!! Ah!! I try to tell her she is still a baby but she is anxious to play with her 3 big brothers and her best friend Kali!! She has 2 teethe now and two more top ones trying to make their way through! She is a little chunk and loves loves loves to eat!!! Anything in sight!!! She says "mama" "dada" "hi" "bye" and "dede" for brothee which is what she calls Braxton. What a happy busy baby!! She loves to sing and dance, does patty cake and intsy wintsy spider! She especially loves to cheer for the boys at their games!! It is sooooo cute! We love you our princess!!!

Ok I haven't blogged forever!!! I have been meaning to update but just never got around to it!! My sweetie little Tyson had his birthday on April 25th. He turned 5!! Big boy! He is soooooo sweet! I can't even tell you. I remember when I got pregnant with him and everyone told me that the 3rd one was the hardest but boy were they wrong! :) He was an angel from the start! He came home sleeping through the night and was the happiest snuggly cute baby ever! He is so easy going and I am so in love with him. We had a fun day for his birthday with a pinata and an army cake! We even had an army grenade water balloon toss. We celebrated it the next day with his grandparents and had a great day!!!!!! Tyson's favorite things are Star Wars ANYTHING, small animal toys, movies, and soccer! He is such a cute little soccer player and is loving having his own sport to play as the other two are very into their baseball! He is definitly his own person and is never a follower! Silly boy!!! Happy late birthday blog Tyson!!!!!! We love you!!

The Grand Canyon

We had the BEST vacation EVER!!!! We went to the Grand Canyon and then spent 5 days at Ruth Elizabeth Aunt Dee Dee...etc.... and Uncle Kris's house in Marana Arizona. I have sooo many cute pictures that I could post for days on these! These are only a few from my camera not even Gabe's or the day I didn't have one!! We had so much fun. It was beautiful weather and we were able to spend so much time together with our cousins! Thanks so very much for letting us stay there you guys!! We swam over at Kevin and Ala's house and had so much fun getting to know them too! Ate carne asada mmmm... and played guitar hero. We should have made Kevin and Ala battle!!! Next time! I will be practicing for a rematch! :) We hung out, went to see where Kris works, went to the children's museum, went to dinner, watched Office... Gabe is addicted now! We are going to have to start season 3 now!! Went to the park, dyed eggs, and had a beautiful Easter!!! We made memories that we will cherish forever. We cried when leaving, and really miss all of you. We can't stop repeating Kohen's cute phrases and thinking of Kollin's cute face with his sweet eyes!!! It was the best and we are just so very thankful to have such wonderful family!!!!!!!! We love you guys and Ala, kevin and kids too!!!! xoxoxo P.s. Sorry Crystal we didn't make it over. Ok so by now you all know that this is basically Aliya's blog! :) haha JK I have just been using this as our photo album/journal! So bear with me... My princess is yes another month older. And she has grown sooooo much!! I keep wishing that she won't get any bigger but she does. She weighs 18 pounds now... the same weight as her almost 1 year old cousin Lachlan!!! What a little chub! She is crawling now... but only backwards and in a circle! She hasn't figured out that trying to pull herself forward with her face planted to the ground is not working!! It's only a matter of time though and she will have it down. She has her first tooth too!!! It finally popped through on the bottom!! So cute! I will miss her little gummy smile though! So much fun!! She talks and sings so much!! Always making noises saying MAMA!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!! She calls for me! It is the cutest thing ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a little sweetness! We all love her sooooo much! For Family Home Evening this week we had our lesson on nature and we decided to do something fun for our dinner and dessert!! So this is our little octopus hotdog on pasta and for dessert we had ice cream dirt with gummy worms! It was a lot of fun and the kids LOVED it!!

Words just can't express how much I love this boy!!! I can still remember the day I found out I was pregnant with him. I had taken about 5 home pregnancy tests and all said negative but I knew I was pregnant. So I went to the hospital and had a blood test and sure enough I was! We went right to the mall and bought a cute outfit and ran to tell everyone!! I was soooo excited! I thought for sure he was going to be a girl though... but nope he was definitly a boy! I was excited though because growing up I always wanted an older brother so I was excited for our first to be a boy! He was the most beautiful baby I had ever seen and I loved him so very much. I quit my job and had to stay home and play with him all day!! We played so much too. We sang songs, imagined things and had fun!! It is no wonder at all that he was a little jabber jaws. He never stopped talking with his high sweet voice. He has a snowman doll that is his snowy that has been his best friend since birth it seems. We finally had to retire him for a new one it got so dirty. He has grown so fast and I can still see his anxious little face the first day of kindergarten. I cried and cried and cried. My big boy. And when I tricked him into going on the spider at Lagoon! Ifelt soooooo bad that he was so so scared!! June and Robert will remember... what a mean mom!! :) He is such a good boy!! He loves loves loves to read. His favorite books are Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Captain Underpants. He loves baseball and even running on the track at Olympus. We can't wait for warmer weather!! Thank you for making my life so much better Braxton!!! You are such a blessing to me. We love you soooooo much!!!!! Happy Birthday!!

6 MONTHS OLD!!! HAPPY HALF BIRTHDAY ALIYA!!

Well, this month just flew by!! I think that we spent the whole month sick!! And poor baby had most of it! With RSV, ear infections, a virus and teething to top it all off!!! My poor girl!!! I can't wait for warmer weather! Spring here we come! Aliya just keeps getting cuter and cuter. A thing which none of us thought possible but its true! She is babbling a lot now... its so cute to hear. She loves to sit up and play with her toys, read books, and just chew on things! She LOVES food!! Seriously... I have never seen a baby who wants to eat like she does. And she really knows when you are eating something that she wants!! She throws a huge fit for it!! She loves her bath now and likes to splash in the water. She cries when it is time to get out! She definitly recognizes people now and is in love with her brothers!! She is always smiling and giggling at them!! What a pretty princess!! We love you Aliya!!!!

Gabe was sooooo sweet and gave me these yummy chocolate covered strawberries and blackberries!!! Yum!! He bought them from Brandy! At her cute Toffee House! Thank you Brandy!! If any of you are in need of a cute gift for friends, family or spouse she has some really yummy and cute things and you should go in there!! It is on 300 W. and just south of 3300 s. in the Walden Park complex. It is called Held's Toffee House or Gourmet Candies! It is in an industrial area but her little store is sooooo cute and well worth going in!!!!!!!! Thank you Gabriel!!!!!

We had soooo much fun!! We only wished that it had lasted longer because they only did three rows!! :( BUT... I WON!!!!! YAY!! For those of you that play you will know what I am talking about and for those of you who don't you should!! They counted 5ers as mini buncos and I had the most! FUN FUN!!!!! I love my Merr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Road Trip!!

Well, Merr and I entered a Bunco tournament in Misquite and decided to make a road trip out of it!! We took Alyssa, Jaden, Lexie, Braxton and Aliya and off we went!! We stayed the night in St. George on Friday, and then had a great time in Misquite on Saturday and Sunday! The weather was crazy.... but the kids were able to swim OUTSIDE for a few hours!! They were so excited! We had fun just getting away for a few days!

WOW!!! What a big girl!! Time goes by WAY too fast! :( Aliya is growing so much.She can sit up on her own now, with only an occasional tumble. She loves to eat and grabs the bowl and the spoon while you are feeding her. I think that she is afraid it will get taken away before she is finished! She is so cute... she says mmm... after every bite! She is like her mama! She laughs and smiles so much and is just loving everyone!!!!!!

My brothers are soooo sweet to me! They want to include me in everything they do! I like to play the DS with them and Carson loves to read to me! So so so cute!! My favorite though is to play ninja turtles with Tyson. He even gave me my own tutle name. I am "Sandra" the pink ninja turtle!! :) It's not always boy things either... my brothers love to play dolls and princesses with me!! My dad is a good sport and plays too!!! They love their sister!!!

I can't believe that my princess is already 4 months old!! I think that I just wrote about her 3rd month!! Oh well!! I am sure that this is more for me anyway! :) Well... our little princess just keeps growing but with that she just gets more beautiful! She is so chubby but yet so petite and feminine at the same time! She is so giggly and fun now... Carson is ALWAYS trying to get a laugh out of her and it usually works too! Who wouldn't laugh at the crazy voice and noises he makes at her!! LOL! She is sitting up now with only an occasional tumble... wait that is WHEN she is actually put down! She has learned to throw fits this month and I am proud to say she is a Broncos fan by the look of how she tries to buck herself out of her carseat, swing, chair or just about anything you put her in. She is starting to teethe now and with that comes a lot of drool. As you can imagine I have about 30 bibs for her but rather than that we just change her clothes several times a day!! :) Because she has about 30 outfits as well!!! And it is much more fun! She has learned to spit thanks to her silly mom always making faces at her. It is so cute to see her do it! She is her mama's baby and we are pretty inseparable. We spend our days talking, playing, reading, and snuggling. It has been nice to enjoy every minute with her!! Something I would never take back!!! We love you Aliya!!!!!

For Christmas this year Gabe let me have our family sleep over at my dad's house! It only took 10 years of asking! :) Thanks honey!! We had so much fun with all of our family. There were about 9 different families that slept over! What fun!! It was so fun just to enjoy being together. I am so very thankful for such a special family. I have been truly blessed. Thank you everyone!!!

HAHA!! Aliya's face was like... who the heck is that guy???? We are loving Christmas time at our house! The kids are out of school now so we are just enjoying the vacation. Watching movies, making cookies, tamales at Mita's, wrapping presents, playing in the SNOW!! ETC.... The boys are at such a fun age this year... can't wait!!

Oh my sweet girl is 3 months old today!!! How I wished that this day wouldn't come! :) She just keeps growing and growing... too fast! But she just gets more beautiful every day. She is so full of smiles now and even a few giggles now and again. So precious. She is so alert now and has realized that she has hands! Now if she could only get them to grab things when she wants. Haha, she is still learning. She is just so sweet and the boys couldn't possibly get any cuter with her. Our cute neighbor Jonah who is 8 is crazy about her. It is so cute. He has her picture in his room and is determined he is going to marry her! Oh what we have to look forward to if it is beginning already!! LOL!

I am so very thankful for all that I have been blessed with in my life. I am so grateful for my family. I'm sorry to everyone but mine is the best!! We spent Thanksgiving with my mom, Randy, Nate, Andrea and the kids. It was so much fun just being together and the food was delicious...of course...except what I made. Why did the "good cook" gene skip over me??? :) Thank you mom!! And to make it an even better day, it was my birthday!! 21!! YAY! Gabe was so cute and made me my favorite cake(rainbow chip with rainbow chip frosting) even though we had so much pie, he wanted me to have my cake!! So cute!! Thanks sweetie!! And my life would be meaningless without my little ones!! I am so very blessed to have my boys, and my new little princess. :)

Braxton had his first Pinewood Derby! He was so excited!! With help from his dad and grandpa Brent he was able to win first place 2 times and 2nd place once!!!! YAY! He was sooooo excited!! Thank you Grandpa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My cutest little Grandma turns 87 tomorrow!! We celebrated her birthday at Leatherbys on Saturday. YUMMY!! A family favorite!! She was so cute and just loved the baby. This is a cute 4 genertations picture of all of us. Aliya just loved her and sat so snug in her arms for a long time, which was a little amazing in itself because she had been fussy all day long. SO SWEET!

Look!! I have earings!!!!! So pretty!!!!!! My mom and Merr ( Alyssa and Ryan too) were at the mall and just couldn't resist getting my ears pierced now that I am finally old enough. Sorry Aunt Kenzie that we didn't wait for you! I did really good and cried just for a moment but that was expected from the little drama queen!! :) We picked out little white gold diamonds that look so pretty with my brown sugar skin! Such a pretty girl!!!!!!!!!! Mommy's doll baby!!

This month has had a lot of firsts! First of all we found out that Aliya is not avery good listener! We have told her and told her not to grow but she did!! She is now 12 lbs. and 24 inches long! Big girl! We find that most of her clothes are too short in the arms and some the legs as well!! She has been smiling and "talking" a lot. She even giggled at her mama for the first time. It was the cutest noise ever! She also rolled over for the first time from her back to her front, but this doesn't make her very happy! She has become quite the kicker and if we put a blanket on her it is soon off! Just practicing for when she is a famous soccer player~:) With pink addidas of course! We also found that Aliya has the cutest birthmark in the whole world!! I am biased of course, simply because it is on her right hand just like her mommy's!! SO CUTE!! She is definitly my girl! We are all still very much in love with her and she is still the most spoiled princess I know! WE LOVE YOU ALIYA!!!

What a fun day!! We started out with the Halloween parade at the boy's school, followed by fun class parties, and ending at Grandma Danell's house! We ate homemade chili and mummy hotdogs, then headed out with all the cousins trick or treating. What perfect weather and fun! The boys ended up with lots of candy and I'm sure 50 cavities! :) Even Aliya and Damien went and enjoyed the fun... Damien sleeping through most of it though! WE LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!

What??? snow?? Carson took full advantage of the snow and made a cute snowman that now resides in our freezer! And just a week later we wore Aliya out with an afternoon at the pumpkin patch! so whether it is fall or winter we are bound to have some fun. :)

Well... as most of you know when your baby is young the time flies by and the baby grows like crazy!! It is so sad but I can definitly say that I haven't wasted a minute of it. If any of you have called or come over you don't even need to ask where or what I am doing because the answer is always the same! Rocking the baby in the rocking chair. And if I have come to visit, baby is always right there too! I am loving every minute of it. Aliya has grown so much this last month. She has grown 3 inches and gained a little over 3 pounds!!! Good girl! She is starting to smile now and her eyes will follow you around the room! She is sadly fitting and outgrowing all of her newborn clothes. She is so dark and her hair is coming in very dark as well. Black?? Let's hope!!! Her eyes are the same color as her hair as well! No hope for mommy's blue eyes there! She is constantly smothered in loves and kisses by her 3 brothers. It is hard to tell which one spoils her the most since they are always fighting for her attention! Although Carson has them all beat in the juiciest kisses!! :) But, those of you who are dads can probably guess who she has wrapped around her little finger already!!! Gabe is in heaven and calls throughout the day just to check on his little girl! And rushes in the door to pry her out of my arms and hold her until her next feeding time! No she is definitly not spoiled!! Not to say the least of her grandparents. Constantly stopping by to get their baby fix in and smell her sweetest girly smell! or buy her the cutest outfit at the store. Who can resist those girl clothes?? And aunts making bows, bracelets for their little neice! And we all know with me she ended up with two moms because "Aunt Merr" spoils her equally as much and I really don't think that a day has gone by where she hasn't stopped by just to hold her for a minute! We are all crazy about her and as you can imagine it is bound to only get worse! :) Look below to see how I've grown! HAPPY ONE MONTH BIRTHDAY ALIYA!!!!

Hi I'm Braxton, I am the oldest child in my family! I love having my brothers to play with. We wrestle, read, play games and just have a fun time but I am so happy to have a baby sister. The day she was born I could hardly stand to be at school. After lunch recess I kept looking at the clock hoping time would go by faster so that I could go to the hospital to see her! My heart was pounding the whole way there I was so excited! When I saw her I thought she was the most beautiful thing in the world. I am very happy to have her in our family. I am 8 years old and got baptized this year. It was so special for me to have my dad baptize me and also my friend Harrison too!! I love going to scouts now. I am in 3rd grade and my teacher's name is Mrs. Budge. She tells great stories! I love to read, play baseball, watch the Brady Bunch and hang out with my best friend Lexie. We are all getting excited for fall and Halloween!! And for the Red Sox to win the world series again! Sorry uncle Karson!! Your Yankees didn't even make it to the play offs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :) At least your Cubs are doing great! Tyson is a loyal Cubs fan now just so you know. We can handle that one!! LETS GO RED SOX!!!

Hi everybody! I am 4 years old now and just became a BIG brother!! I am so excited to help my mom with my little sister! i am always kissing, holding, and touching her, especially her tiny ears!! :) I just started preschool at Rosecrest Elementary. My teachers are Miss Amber and Miss Aubrey. I love them and all of the fun things they teach me. My favorite thing I have learned so far is THE BEAR HUNT!! I am still mom's little buddy half of the day and love snuggling and watching "Super Why"! I love playing tag with dad, dancing and boxing like Rocky Balbosa! :)

I am now 7 years old! I had my birthday on September 14th!! YAY!! I was so happy to turn 7, we had a fun party at my Mita's and again at Panda Express. I love Chinese food! And especially loved all the legos I got for my birthday! Thanks everyone for everything!! I am loving school. I am in second grade. I am a great reader, artist, and friend. My mom calls me her baby butterfly, because I am a social butterfly and make friends with everyone!! I was born on September 3, 2008 at 10:32 am. I was 6 lbs. 13 oz. and 20 inches long. I was the biggest baby in my family and the only girl!! I am spoiled rotten by everyone! Mommy, Daddy, and my 3 brothers... Braxton, Carson, and Tyson. Not to mention my grandmas and grandpas and aunts, uncles and special friends.
